5 No Cost Tips

Five “NO COST” TIPS

For BETTER Customer Service

  1. Address your customers by name.

Remember how you enjoy being greeted by name when entering a business.

  1. Greet each customer as soon as possible or make eye contact to acknowledge their presence.

Offer to assist guests as they arrive; if they decline your assistance, invite them to browse.

  1. Ask open ended questions.

How are you enjoying your stay?  Who are you shopping for today?  What price range do you have in mind?

  1. Actively listen to your customers questions.

We remember 25-50% of what we hear.  Turn it around and when you are being presented with information, you aren’t hearing the entire message – only 25-50%

  1. Maintain good eye contact and smile.
